Good Morning Vikings!

Today is Thursday, November 1st

The City of Bellevue Green Genius challenge is starting to day. This challenge challenges students to be thoughtful about their choices towards the environment. Specifically, the challenge asks you to consider how much trash you produce and whether or not you recycle. The Bellevue middle school that produces the least amount of trash during lunch as of November 16th will win this friendly competition. We won two years ago and want to win again! Today’s Green Genius tip of the day is: Reduce your lunch waste by packing reusable containers instead of plastic bags.

Tomorrow is the Final Collection Day for the fundraiser forms, so be sure to turn them in to your 1st period teacher. Just an early heads up to our teachers that a Leadership student will collect them from you during 1st period.

Today is Crazy Hair Day, who has the zaniest hair?! Tomorrow is Pajama Day, bring your cozy pjs to school!

Want to play flag football? Jubilee is coaching a Boys and Girls Flag Football team. All skill levels are encouraged. Practices start November 13th and are from 4-4:45 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Check out the Flag Football posters in the hallways for further information. Thanks for signing-up as soon as possible.

After school badminton is finally coming. Anyone interested in playing for the Odle badminton club please come to the gym at 4:05 Monday November 5th. You can sign up for the club and we will give you details about practices and procedures. No experience necessary. See you on Monday. Please do not come before 4:00.

Today is the Thursday 30 OARRS drawing. Turn-in your OARRS before period 7 today.

Today’s lunch is fish and chips.

Have a great day everyone!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
