Good Morning Vikings!

Today is Thursday, December 6

Holiday season is right around the corner. Not sure how to show your appreciation to our staff? PTSA has it all planned out! Please join us in this fun and sweet celebration! From now to December 7, please stop by at the front office and ask for a set of Thank You Postcards that PTSA customized for Odle teachers (A$10 donation is highly recommended). Only 120 sets left as of now. Once your fill out all cards for each teacher and staff, you can drop the cards into one of the three drop boxes in commons.  Please drop all your cards into the box for your lunch period). On December 12th, we will draw winners during each lunch period.  You will have a chance to win all kinds of exciting prizes. Remember, get post cards at front office with $10 donation, write thankful notes to staff, drop off cards into our collecting boxes and wait to win a prize!  It’s that easy!

After School Study Zone in the library will be cancelled from Monday, December 3rd through Friday, December 7th due to the book fair. Also, book checkout and other student use of the library will NOT be available before school and at lunch during the book fair from Tuesday, December 4th through Friday, December 7th. If you need help with your laptop, Mr. Tripp will be in the main office for Tech Help during lunches and before school.

Today is the second to last day of Computer Science Challenge Week, you are almost done! Today’s challenge is play a game on code.org or other coding site (like challenging a friend to a game on codecombat.com), and upload a screenshot of the completion screen to the Microsoft Teams dropbox.

If you did not receive your products and prizes from the fundraiser delivery on Tuesday, please come to the main office. You have until the end of the week to check in with the office.

The December Problem of the Month is now up.  Check the window outside room 119.  Copies are available.  All students are eligible to enter. A winner will be randomly chosen from all the correct answers turned in by Friday December 21st. The winner for November will be announced soon.

Did you lose your laptop? Did you leave it at home and a family member is bringing it to you? Make sure you check the lost and found shelves by the attendance desk in the office. Laptops on the shelves will not be delivered to students, so please come get it. If you have lost your laptop and it is not in the office, please check in all of your classrooms. Then let an adult know so we can help you find it!

Today’s lunch is barbecue pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel roll with thick-cut baked fries and coleslaw on the salad bar.

Have a great day everyone!
