Wednesday AM Announcement

(Speaker #1)

Good Morning Vikings!

Today is Wednesday, May 15

Stand for the pledge of allegiance Vikings (wait 3 seconds)

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. (wait 3 seconds)

7th graders – this is your final reminder to turn in your completed WEB applications to Ms. Farkas by 2:30 today.  Don’t let this opportunity pass you by!!

Vikings, we need your ideas and artistic talent for next year’s planner cover and teacher door signs. The ideal design should be a full color piece of artwork that represents Odle, have a place for students to write their name, and fit on a standard sheet of paper. Let your imagination be your guide. Submissions are due by the end of the day on May 24th, to the main office.

ASB is hosting another dance on Friday, May 24 from 6-8pm in the gym. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased before school, during lunch, or at the dance. The March social was super fun and we are so excited to have another dance before the school year ends! Having fun school events like a dance is a privilege that is open to all students. To be able to attend the dance, you must follow behavior expectations at school. The following behaviors will prevent you from being able to attend the dance:

  • 6 or more unexcused tardies
  • Skipping a class
  • A referral to the assistant principals

This expectation is in effect from May 6 until the afternoon of the dance.

Is your closet full of old clothes? Are there old toys lurking under your bed? Do you have too many books? Get rid of them at our “Fill the Truck” Fundraiser. Future Problem-Solving Club is hosting a fundraiser for our international competitors, and we need YOU to help us out. Goodwill is accepting almost all household items smaller than an end table. Join us in the Odle parking lot on Sunday May 19th from 9AM to NOON and help us Fill the Truck!

Today’s lunch is deli turkey sandwich.

Have a great day everyone!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
