November is American Indian Heritage Month

 

The Snoqualmie Tribe lives in the Puget Sound region. The name Snoqualmie means “strong people of status.” They have approximately 500 members. Today, many live in Snoqualmie, North Bend, Fall City, Carnation, Issaquah, Mercer Island, and Monroe.
