We pause to acknowledge that Odle Middle School resides on the traditional and occupied land of the Coast Salish Peoples – past, present, and future. We honor their connection to the region, pay respect to Coast Salish Elders past and present, and stand in solidarity through their struggles.

Students, every year there is a $10 fee placed on your account. This fee helps fund ASB events, like 8th grade promotion and school dances, and supports ASB clubs. There may be other fees on your account, so please visit TouchBase. The link to TouchBase is on the Odle website.

We are now one week away from the end of 1st quarter. The quarter ends next Friday, November 5th. Make sure you understand your teachers’ grading policies so that you can do your best this first quarter! Tutorial is from 3:20-3:50 every day except Wednesday.

Today is costume day! If you are wearing a costume it must promote a fun and safe school environment. The following types of dress is not allowed:

  • States or implies intimidation, discrimination, or ridicule based on a legally protected status such as race or gender
  • Displays words, pictures, or references to profanity, alcohol or marijuana, tobacco, illegal drugs, weapons, or sexual innuendo
  • Displays words, pictures, or references that create an atmosphere in which a student, staff, or other person’s well-being is affected by undue pressure, behavior, intimidation, overt gesture, threat of violence, gang membership or affiliation.

This includes not bringing any props that promote violence, drug use, or other school inappropriate behaviors. If you have a mask, it must not cover your whole face and others must be able to identify who you are at all times. Thank you for respecting these rules and keeping this spirit day safe and fun.

Today’s lunch is chef’s choice.

Have a great day everyone!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
