We pause to acknowledge that Odle Middle School resides on the traditional and occupied land of the Coast Salish Peoples – past, present, and future. We honor their connection to the region, pay respect to Coast Salish Elders past and present, and stand in solidarity through their struggles.

 

 Attention 7th grade students. If you would like to apply to be an OFFICE TA for 8th grade please listen. Pick up the application in the main office. Complete the application by getting a teacher recommendation, writing an essay on why you would like to be an TA,  and then filling out the first page complete with parent and student signature. Please turn in by June  17th 3:50 PM.

 

 Thank you to all the students that submitted a planner design. There were many fun and colorful ideas. Please congratulate Manasvi Patwari! Her fun flight themed drawing will be next year’s planner cover. Congratulations are also in order for Manaswini Madhusudhanan’s playful mushroom design was selected for next year’s teacher door sign. Well done!

 

 

Last chance to buy a yearbook! The final sales window runs from June 7th until the books are SOLD OUT, and we do not expect to have any leftovers. If you want one, order yours today! Yearbooks will be handed out during lunch on Thursday, June 16th. You can purchase a book in advance, through the online payment portal. Or you can pay in the front office, before school and during lunches if you bring a credit card, a check, or cash (EXACT CHANGE PLEASE).

 

 BIPOC students BOOM Virtual is still happening! Participate until June 17th.  Scan the QR code and complete the five unique digital experiences. Poster is outside of main office, in the counseling center and room 131. See Mrs. Carroll if you have questions.

 

At the end of this school year we will collect your laptop so that we can update it with the latest software. Make sure you bring your laptop to school on June 16th and 17th. You will keep your bag, charger, and stylus over the summer and use them next year. Please remember to backup everything on your computer to your OneDrive or you will lose it over the summer.

 

 

Do you have a friend in Choir Class or Choir Club? Do you love to sing? Then Come and join our choir celebration on Thursday June 16th from 4 to 6p.m. on the stage!! There will be a small performance by both groups, followed by karaoke and food. All are welcome to sing during Karaoke, so come prepared with a song if you want to participate. Tickets are $10, and will be sold during 1st 2nd and 3rd lunch, outside the office starting Thursday June 2nd. Cash only. We are excited to see you there!

 

 

Odle Tennis Club is proud to announce a tennis tournament happening from 4 pm to 4:45 pm on:

Monday, June 13th, Tuesday, June 14th, and Thursday, June 16th

This tournament will be held at the Odle tennis courts. All participants will be given popsicles after the tournament and the winner will be announced to the whole school in the morning announcements on Friday, June 16th. Please sign up before Sunday June 12th. If you have any questions, please ask Ishaan Mishra. So, if you want the whole school to know that you are the best tennis player here, please scan the QR code seen on the entrance doors of the school!

 

 

Support Ukrainian children through the crisis they are going through! How can you do this? Wear the colors of the flag of Ukraine, blue and yellow, on Tuesday, June 14th, less than a week from now! We’re hoping many Odle Vikings will participate! Also look out for “Donate to help Ukraine” flyers in the hallways with QR codes on them for the Save the Children website. Donate any amount of money you want! Every cent counts, and together we can aid kids your age to get through the war raging in their home.

 

Students – this year you earned a total of 15,245 OARRS! That’s about 16 OARRS per student! Thanks for being respectful, responsible, and safe this year!
