We pause to acknowledge that Odle Middle School resides on the traditional and occupied land of the Coast Salish Peoples – past, present, and future. We honor their connection to the region, pay respect to Coast Salish Elders past and present, and stand in solidarity through their struggles.

Hey, Vikings, TODAY is Orange Shirt Day and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, please take time to reflect, listen, and learn about Indigenous peoples’ experiences and history. Reconciliation requires reconcili-ACTION, it is more than wearing orange for just a day, let’s work together to be better allies for Indigenous peoples all year round!

In two weeks of school you have earned at least 1,102 OARRS as a whole school. Way to go! Please remember to write your first and FULL last name. Prizes are only given to names drawn that have their full last name written. The current prizes are: passing period song choice, lunch and snacks with the counselors, and movie and a snack after school with a friend. Coming soon will be a dance party with your friends and Miss Gayle during your lunch. Keep being respectful, responsible and safe!

Today’s lunch is a chicken sandwich with baked fries and “homerun sauce” in honor of the Mariners!.

Have a great day everyone!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
