Today is Wednesday, December 7th.

Stand for the pledge of allegiance Vikings (wait 3 seconds)

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. (wait 3 seconds)

We pause to acknowledge that Odle Middle School resides on the traditional and occupied land of the Coast Salish Peoples – past, present, and future. We honor their connection to the region, pay respect to Coast Salish Elders past and present, and stand in solidarity through their struggles.

Hey Vikings!  Would you like to be a participant in the next Odle assembly on Dec. 16?  If so, enter your OARRS for a chance!  The drawing will be held on Dec. 12.  You will be contacted if you win!

Ooh, Vikings, there’s a new club! YouthLink is hosting CLUB ODLE, it’s the club that YOU want it to be. TODAY, during tutorial AND club/activity time! 1st & 3rd Tuesdays in Miss Gayle’s room #131

Were you in Mrs. Gilbert’s class at Cherry Crest? Well, she is coming to visit Odle on Friday, December 9th! Meet us in Miss Gayle’s room #131 after school to 4:40pm if you would like to spend some time with Mrs. Gilbert & other students from her classes at Cherry Crest. If you have any questions, please contact Aanya Nathan or Miss Gayle.

Hey Vikings! Leadership is hosting a drive this December to help our community and local shelter animals. Items like canned foods, diapers and baby wipes, toothbrushes, toilet paper, winter coats, and socks are very helpful this time of year. Your donation will help keep people warm and fed this winter. You can drop off items in the big box outside the front office. Additionally, Leadership is sharing the wishlist of Seattle Humane Society to help comfort rescue animals while they wait in shelters to be adopted! Scan the QR code on the posters and flyers around school and it will take you their online wishlist. We appreciate your donations that take care of our community!

Join Rainbow Club! We meet every Friday at 3:50pm in room 119. It’s a safe space for LGBTQ+ students, friends, and allies to meet awesome people, talk, and have fun. Come join us or just stop by to say hi!

Students, there is no study zone tomorrow.

Today’s lunch is garlic cheese toast with marinara dipping sauce.

Have a great day, everyone!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
