Today is Wednesday, March 15th.

Stand for the pledge of allegiance Vikings (wait 3 seconds)

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. (wait 3 seconds)

We pause to acknowledge that Odle Middle School resides on the traditional and occupied land of the Coast Salish Peoples – past, present, and future. We honor their connection to the region, pay respect to Coast Salish Elders past and present, and stand in solidarity through their struggles.

Today our football teams play against Highland! 7th and 8th graders have an away game at Highland Middle School, and our 6th grade team plays at home. You can catch the game this today at 3:15 on the football field! Gooooo Vikings!

Attention 7th graders: Your registration materials are due on Monday March 20th.  Please make sure to bring your completed and signed course selection form to your science class for counselors to collect. In the meantime if you have any questions or concerns, please see your Odle school counselor.

The Odle Volleyball team continued its strong play against International on Tuesday, winning 5 of their 8 matches, with 1 tie and 2 losses. We hope to keep our winning ways going against Tyee on Thursday.

Attention 8th graders who are attending Bellevue, Interlake or Sammamish next year:  Your registration materials are due by Monday March 20th.  You can turn your completed materials into the box labeled with your high school’s name in the main office.  Counselors from Sammamish and Interlake will also be here during the school day on the 20th to meet with students. If you would like to meet with your high school counselor or have questions, please mark your course request form with a star before turning it in to the box in the main office. In the meantime if you have any questions or concerns, please see your Odle school counselor.

Next week we have another spirit week! On Monday wear green for the first day of spring, on Tuesday wear anything that reminds you of the 90s. On Wednesday wear anything you’re a fan of. Do you have a Star Wars shirt? A marvel shirt? Harry Potter scarf? Wear clothing from anything you are a fan of! On Thursday, wear pajamas! Last, on Friday, wear shades of one color for monochrome day! We can’t wait to see your spirited looks!

Today’s lunch is a Dutch waffle with warm apple compote and turkey sausage or eggs.

Remember we don’t have school this Friday because our teachers have a professional day.

Have a great day, everyone!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
