Today is Wednesday, March 22nd.

Stand for the pledge of allegiance Vikings (wait 3 seconds)

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. (wait 3 seconds)

We pause to acknowledge that Odle Middle School resides on the traditional and occupied land of the Coast Salish Peoples – past, present, and future. We honor their connection to the region, pay respect to Coast Salish Elders past and present, and stand in solidarity through their struggles.

Odle’s National Junior Honor Society Candidate Forms are due by this Friday, March 24th at 4pm. You can turn in your form to Mrs. Black in room 233 or drop it off in the Main Office. Any questions? See Mrs. Black.

March is Women’s History Month! Oprah Winfrey’s grandmother expected Oprah to follow in her footsteps and become a maid. Oprah knew, even as a little girl, that her dreams would take her somewhere else. She persisted in turning those dreams into her reality and became a media superstar, working in movies, books, magazines, theater and, most of all, television, where The Oprah Winfrey Show remains the highest-rated talk show of all time. One of her famous quotes is: “The biggest adventure you can ever take is to live the life of your dreams.”

Today’s spirit day is fandom and we can’t wait to see all the things Odle students are big fans of! Tomorrow is pajama day.

Today’s lunch is a turkey bacon egg and cheese OR egg and cheese bagel sandwich with a hashbrown patty.

Have a great day, everyone!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
