Today is Thursday, May 18th.

Stand for the pledge of allegiance Vikings (wait 3 seconds)

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. (wait 3 seconds)

We learn and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.

Today’s spirit week day is Switcharoo day and tomorrow is the last day of our spirit week with college day, so make sure to represent a college!

Vikings, don’t you deserve to be in a clean, safe space? We need to clean up after ourselves in order to make that happen- in the hallways, in the commons, in the bathrooms, outside the building, everywhere at Odle! If you notice students not taking care of their own responsibilities or if someone is intentionally leaving trash or causing damage, please tell them directly if you feel safe in doing so. If you don’t feel comfortable, please see Miss Gayle or another trusted staff member for support. Trashing our school is NOT cool!

May is Jewish American Heritage Month! Did you know that Albert Einstein was Jewish American? Throughout history he developed theories such as Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, the Unified Field Theory, and quantum theory. Once he became an American citizen he dedicated the remainder of his life towards teaching theoretical physics at Princeton.

The spring fling is tomorrow at 6pm in the gym! Tickets are available for purchase in the office before school or during all three lunches. Remember, if you have 6 tardies, skip a class, or receive an office referral, you will not be allowed to attend! If you have already purchased tickets, you can pick them up in the Main Office during your lunch today and tomorrow.

Today’s clubs are Fiber Club in room 119, Media Club in room 147, Research Psychology Club in room 117, and Science Club in rooms 229 and 245.

Today’s lunch is a breaded chicken leg with roasted asparagus, mini potatoes, and cornbread.

Have a great day everyone!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
