I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. (wait 3 seconds)

We learn and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.

The lost and found will be emptied at the end of the day on Friday. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity. Please be sure to retrieve your things by the end of this week, or thank you for your donation.

Hey Odle, The library will be closed on Friday, May 26th. This means no Study Zone on Friday after school. Please make other plans. Thank you!

Hey 8th graders, the 8th Grade Cruise is June 21st! Turn in permission slips by May 26 to the office. Students can come on the cruise if they have not been assigned in-school or out-of-school suspension, are not excessively absent, skipping class, or have more than 14 unexcused tardies, or are not getting excessive behavior referrals to school administration. We have seen a great reduction in tardies! Continue to be on your best behavior so that you can come on the cruise!

Attention all 7th graders: SOS!  This is your last chance to apply to be a WEB Leader.  Completed applications must be turned in to Ms. Farkas by 2:20 today and she won’t be accepting any applications after that time, so please make sure to get yours in on time.

Media Club is cancelled this Thursday, May 26. We will continue to hold Media Club again next week.

The Robotics team “42 Watts” with student Rishabh Rao from Odle Middle School won the First Lego League Western Washington State Championship earlier this year and represented Washington state at the FLL Razorback World Championship. There were 80 teams from around the world competing at the event and 42 Watts won the Robot performance and Robot design awards. Please join me in congratulating Rishabh!

May is Jewish American Heritage Month! Gloria Steinem was an acclaimed journalist, as well as a trailblazing feminist and a strong leader of the women’s right movement. When she began journaling she went by a man’s name but then went on to co-found the first feminist periodical, called “Ms.”. She later published many more books and co-founded several other women’s right organizations.

The location of the Movie and a snack prize has been moved to room 133. 133 is under the last staircase next to Ms. Gayle’s office.

Today’s lunch is turkey bacon, egg, and cheese or an egg and cheese bagel sandwich with a hashbrown patty.

Have a great day, everyone!

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
