We learn and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
June is Pride Month! Alan Turing is well-known for creating the foundation of AI and computer science, and for helping decipher German codes in World War 2. Turing came out as gay in the 1950s, and to this day he’s still recognized as one of the smartest people in history.
On June 15th we will collect laptops from all 8th grade students. In 9th grade you will receive a new computer. Make sure you bring your laptop, charger, and stylus to school on June 15th. Please remember to backup everything on your computer to your OneDrive or you will lose it over the summer.
Seventh grade students please remember to apply for office assistant position for eighth grade. If you have already picked up the application, please remember to turn the application back into Ms. Carroll by June 9th.
The Band Program invites you all to a fun-filled Jazz night and fundraiser concert. Music provided by the Odle Jazz Band and Jazz Club and featuring Critical Mass Jazz Band. More information to come!
