Today is Tuesday, May 14th.

Please stand for the pledge of allegiance, Vikings. (wait 4 seconds)

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. (wait 3 seconds)

We learn and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.

Hey Vikings! Thanks for donating to the food drive! It has officially ended now, and we will be coming to collect the crates during 4th period on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will be deciding the winner based on weight and the winner will be announced by Friday. All donations will be going to Hopelink and we thank you for your supporting your local community!

Do you want to be able to flex to your friends? Do you like eating chips? Come to room 245 on Tuesdays from 3:50 to 4:40 during activity time to learn about science. On June 4th and June 11th, the National Science Bowl club, or NSB club, is hosting a mock competition during activity time. Odle won 6th place at the official NSB competition!

Attention ALL National Junior Honor Society Members, it’s spring and that means that our chapter service project asks you to commit random acts of kindness at school and in your community. Kindness can be shown by helping others in little ways, saying kind things, and being a good listener and friend! Spread kindness this spring!

TOMORROW is Wellness Wednesday-the last 15 minutes of your lunch is a time to come up to the library to play games, color, visit with friends or just chill. Hope to see you up in the library after you eat lunch, no food allowed in the library!

The Bellevue School District K-12 Art Show is currently open for viewing at the Crossroads Mall! There is artwork from 28 of our AMAZING Odle Artists included in this Art Show. Our school’s display is located near the Hallmark Store entrance. Stop by and check it out May 2-May 14.

May is the month to highlight the importance of mental health! Kendrick Lamar shared that he has experienced depression. He spoke his truth on one of his albums. During an interview, he discussed how he has suffered from survivor’s guilt after losing one of his closest friends, which led him to depression. Through these struggles, he continues to create great music to process his emotions and his fans respond positively.

Today’s clubs are Mock Trial in room 253, National Science Bowl in room 245, Psychology Club in room 207, and Art Club in room 233.

Today’s lunch is nachos.

Have a great day, everyone!
