Today is Friday, May 17th.

Please stand for the pledge of allegiance, Vikings. (wait 4 seconds)

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. (wait 3 seconds)

We learn and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.

Hey Vikings! We have finished collecting all donated food and in total, we raised 606 pounds of food which was given to Hopelink yesterday. Each donation means a lot to us and helps to support those in need in our local community. The winner of the food drive was Ms. Warehime’s 7th period class who raised 184 pounds of food, a number we’d never expect to hear! Ms. Ingersoll’s 7th period class also came in behind Ms. Warehime’s class with 139 pounds, which was another amazing amount of food. We’ll later be contacting Ms. Warehime regarding the pizza party reward and logistics. Thank you all for making this food drive so successful!
