Calling all artists! We have one more Contest to wrap up the year. WE NEED A NEW VIKING DESIGN, for next year’s spirit wear. If you would like us to feature your art on year’s staff shirts, please stop by the office to pick up an entry form. Return it by the end of school, Friday 5/31/24. Show us some Odle pride and get your entry in, right away!

 

Attention current 7th grade students. Would you like to apply to be an office assistant. Well we would love to have you! Look for applications in the front office starting Monday the 20th.

 

Attention all students. Batteries of all kinds should not be thrown away due to the risk of battery fires. There is a battery box for all battery drop-offs located in the front office. The Odle Green Team needs you to help us with this. We are collecting dead batteries of any kind.  Bring any dead and non-rechargeable batteries from home or from school. All batteries dropped off will be taken to a recycling facility to reduce the risk of battery fires.

 

Attention 6th graders:

Camp is next week! Yay!

This Friday, during 7th period, all 6th graders will attend an assembly to learn about Camp Orkila and Camp Odle. On Friday, please go to the Upper Gym after you check in with your 7th period teacher.

 

 

May is Jewish American Heritage Month! One prominent Jewish figure was Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who led the fight against gender discrimination and successfully argued six landmark cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. Ginsburg took a broad look at gender discrimination, fighting not just for the women left behind, but for the men who were discriminated against as well.

 

Come see Beauty and the Beast at Sammamish High School! The final shows are Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 1pm and 7pm. Tickets are ten dollars for students. Come relive the beautiful music and enjoy seeing former Odle students and other high schoolers perform this fun musical!

 

 

Hey 8th Graders! If you haven’t voted yet, check your email from Ms. Lizotte to vote for 8th Grade Superlatives (think: “most likely to…”)! The last day to vote is Thursday, so get your votes in by the end of the day!

 

 

Today is Wellness Wednesday!! Eat your lunch then come up to the library for the last 15 minutes of your lunch to play games, color, visit with friends or just chill. Hope to see you there!
