What are the steps for earning credit?

  1. Be currently enrolled in a “Pacific NW College Credit” (formally Tech Prep) CTE high school class.
  2. Register for the Pacific NW College Credit program while they are in the class (PNWcollegecredit.org)
  3. Pay the $46 annual consortium fee.  If they paid first semester, just make sure you register for your new courses – there is no additional fee.
  4. Receive a grade of “B” or higher in the class.

What is Pacific NW College Credit?

Students enrolled in Pacific NW College Credit can earn college credit in high school courses that are aligned – articulated with college courses.  Most of the “PNW College Credit high school classes articulated are part of a Career and Technical Education (CTE) program they connect with a professional/technical certificate or degree.
