抽签系统如何运作？
How does the lottery work?
如果我退出该课程，以后可以再申请回来吗？
如果有空位是可以的。如果离开期间未超过一年，学生将不需要参加语言评估。如果学生离开已经超过一年了，将需要再次接受语言水平评估以确保他们的水平能应付课程。
If I left the program, can I re-enroll?
It is possible if spaces are available. Student won’t need to take language assessment if left within one year. If student left more than one year, student will need to be assessed again to ensure their proficiency is ready.
如果我的孩子没有进入景美，我会失去我原本学校的名额吗？
不会。
Will I lose my neighborhood school spot if my child did not get into Jing Mei?
No.
转学生的入学考试是什模式？
- 小学转学生将在景美小学参加评估。该评估分为两部分：书面评估和工作人员口头评估。
- 中学学生将参加STAMP评估。这是一个两到三个小时的线上评估。
What does the entrance exam look like for transfer student?
- For elementary, transfer student will take the assessment at Jing Mei elementary. There are two parts of this assessment: written assessment and oral assessment with a staff.
- For middle school, students will take STAMP assessment. It is a two to three hours online assessment.
通过抽签系统进入的几率是多少？
不一定，因为每年的申请人数不同。
What’s the percentage to get in through the lottery system?
It’s hard to say because the number of applications different from year to year.
我们每年接受多少名新生？
我们每年接受75名幼儿园学生，转学生视情况而定。
How many new students we accept each year?
We accept 75 students each year at kindergarten level. Transfer students are based on availability.
如果我的孩子在景美学前班（Preschool）能保证进入景美小学吗？
不，这两所学校不在同一个系统中。景美学前班学生仍然需要通过抽签系统。
If my child is in Jing Mei pre-school, is it a guarantee to get into Jing Mei elementary?
No, the two schools are not in the same system. Jing Mei pre-school students still need to go through the lottery system.
我的孩子可以只上中文课而不参加中学的社会吗？这会影响我孩子的文凭吗？
这是可能的，但您的孩子将不再被视为MDL课程的学生。空位将首先保留给MDL学生。教师在中文课上也经常会使用与社会课相关的参考资料和材料。
Can my child take Chinese language class only without taking the social studies in middle school? Will that affect my child’s diploma?
It is possible but your child will not be considered as a MDL program student anymore. Space will be reserved to MDL students first. And teachers will often use references and materials that are related to their social studies subjects in Chinese language class.

How can Dual Language and Immersion students earn the Seal of Biliteracy?
Students have several opportunities over the course of their Dual Language and Immersion program to earn the Seal of Biliteracy:
- STAMP Test (Score 5+ on all skills)
- AP Chinese Language and Culture Test (Score 3+)
- AP Chinese Literature (Score 3+)
Students pass one of the above and meet English requirement by graduating with a high school Diploma.
