Students are expected to attend class remotely each day until all course requirements are completed. Students are also expected to attend individual and/or small group remote meeting times in addition to the 9:00am or 10:00am remote class time.
If you miss more than two remote classes or individual/small group remote meetings in the first two weeks, you may be dropped from the program.
First period whole class check in takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. each day. Additionally, students will be required to meet their teacher individually or in small groups each day to assure adequate progress is being made.
Second period whole class check in takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. each day. Additionally, students will be required to meet their teacher individually or in small groups each day to assure adequate progress is being made.
In order to assure that the summer program is safe and productive for everyone involved, students are held to the same standards of conduct as Bellevue students are during the school year. Students violating appropriate behavior code will be referred to the principal for discipline, which may range from an administrative conference up to and including expulsion from the summer school program.
Because we want every student to have a positive experience, we strive to work out any potential concerns with the student and the parent before withdrawing any student from the program. However, we reserve the right to remove a student from summer school if their behavior is severely disruptive or creates a safety hazard. If this occurs, refunds for programs with tuition will not be provided. Students and staff are expected to meet these expectations:
- Show respect for yourself, your peers, and your surroundings.
- Be to remote classes or remote meetings on time, and ready to learn.
- Behave in a safe and appropriate manner.
