APRIL 29th – MAY 3rd

(See attached form for details: Class-Election-App-19-20)

It’s very easy to be the person that just talks about the change they want to see made at their school. Why not be one of the people that can make those changes???

When you are elected to class officer, you have the ability to possibly make the changes that you talk about or desire. You get to have a strong voice in the activities that your class partakes in, the way those events are ran, the way that your class raises money, and in the organization of some of the dances at the school.

If you are interested in running for one of your Class Officer positions, please review the attached application.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Grigsby or Mr. Newton. Thank you!

College Visits During April

This is a great way to learn about the many schools out there. Plus, the college representative visiting is likely the person assigned to this area, so if you decide to apply, this may be the person who would be reading your application first! If you can attend, this is a terrific opportunity to meet them.

College visits currently scheduled at SHS in April:

College   Date Time
Lake Washington Institute of Technology Thu April 18, 2019 12:45 PM
Oregon Institute of Technology Wed April 24, 2019 1:00 PM
Emory University Thu April 25, 2019 3:00 PM

  • All visits are scheduled during lunch or immediately after school in the College & Career Center.
  • If a school is visiting during a lunch you are not scheduled in, you will need to get permission from the teacher of the class you would be missing. You must have that permission in note form when you come to the college visit.
  • Please get your lunch and plan to eat during the visit – we do not want you returning to class hungry.
  • Please contact Ms. Scott in the College & Career Center with any questions.
