Dear Sammamish Families –

I hope that the three-day weekend provided an opportunity for you to rest, relax and reenergize.  We have only a few more weeks to go. Although this situation has been challenging, I have been inspired by the resilience, perseverance and resolve of our community. I encourage each of you to keep grinding, there is light at the end of the tunnel. We have a few announcements this week.

Remote Learning Check-In

We are rounding out our 9th week of remote learning and we would like to check-in again to see how this process is working for our students and our families. Please take five minutes to answer this quick survey to help us know what is working, what has improved over the past nine weeks and what we can still improve from now through the end of the year. Please complete one survey per student in the Bellevue School District. For Spanish or Simplified Chinese, please choose the language at the top right of the survey. Thank you in advance for your consistent feedback and partnership in your student’s learning.

All of our yearbooks have sold at this time and any additional requests will be waitlisted at this time. If you would like to be on the waitlist for a yearbook, please reach out to our School Accountant, Michelle Healy (, for assistance. We know families have questions as to when these will be delivered and the answer is these will likely arrive sometime in August. Unfortunately, our yearbook publisher had to halt operations due to COVID-19 restrictions and is now behind in processing all of their orders. When we have a definite date for delivery, we will communicate our plans for getting these distributed.

Graduating Senior Reminders

A communication was sent to Seniors and their families on Thursday, May 21st, with information on senior activities & events (view message here). Please remind your Senior to complete the survey that was sent to their student email requesting that they verify their information. Also, don’t forget to check the Senior Activities & Graduation page for additional updates.
