Summer is quickly approaching! Celebrate Rainbow Book Month™ with us! Rainbow Book Month™ is a nationwide celebration of the authors and writings that reflect the lives and experiences of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, pansexual, genderqueer, queer, intersex, agender, and asexual community. As of 2020, GLBT Book Month™ (celebrated by the American Library Association since 2015) has been renamed Rainbow Book Month™, in coordination with the Rainbow Round Table’s name change in 2019. Originally established in the early 1990s by The Publishing Triangle as National Lesbian and Gay Book Month, this occasion is an opportunity for book lovers and libraries with the very best in LGBTQIA+ literature. Check out these HOT titles: Destiny Discover Collection

NOTE: Our school Library is currently designated for our Internet Cafe, solely for students with hybrid schedules but assigned to a virtual class, students with open periods, students in running start, travel period, etc. You are unable to browse the library at this time, but you may continue to place HOLDS online to pick up items soon. We keep adding new materials!

Do you want to check out a physical book from our library? Please follow the directions below or refer to the FLYER online:

STEP 1: Search for a book through our online catalog: Destiny Discover

STEP 2: Place the book(s) on HOLD. (NOTE: You will need to log in with the same username (without @bsd405.org) and password you use to access your BSD laptop.)

STEP 3: We will pull your book(s), then send you a confirmation message when your book is ready.

STEP 4: Pick up your item(s) from the library cart outside the main library doors, preferably during passing period, or after school on your way out of the building. (For VIRTUAL students, please contact Ms. Miller to schedule an appointment for Library curbside service, Fridays after school when school is in session.)

Please rememeber to return your library materials in a timely fashion! You can return your items to the library cart outside the library or the cart by the accounting window when you’re done!
