LGBTQ+ and Allies Club: 

Good morning Red Hawks!! Did you know that October is LGBTQ+ history month? Today is national coming out day. Whether or not you decide to take this opportunity to tell someone close to you, remember to celebrate who you are, and those in your life who had the courage to do so. If you’re looking for a safe space with people to support you, come to the SHS LGBTQ+ and Allies meetings on Thursdays in room 227 from 3:30-4:30. Thank you!

Asian American Pacific Islander Club: 

Come join Asian American Pacific Islander Club’s first meeting today!  AAPI Club welcomes students to share and learn about Asian foods, traditions, and cultures, learn about current issues in the AAPI community, and work with other clubs to spread awareness.  Above all, AAPI Club is a welcoming space to meet new people and have fun!  The first meeting of the year is today from 3:30-4:30 in Room 306.

World Language Competency Credit (WLCC) Exam is 10/20/2021:

The World Language Competency Credit (WLCC) Exam is scheduled for Wednesday, October 20th, after school in the Library. This test is for World Language credit for graduation and focuses on reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The SAT is Coming to SHS on 10/28/2021:

Juniors & Seniors!

Did you know that there is an SAT test during the school day on October 28th? Well, there is, and you will be automatically registered for it UNLESS you opt out using the survey link that was sent to you via email Friday afternoon.

Youth Eastside Services is here to support you. Offering Substance Abuse Counseling and Mental Health Counseling in Confidential environment.  Taking place here at school. Are you looking for community service hours? Do you want to help younger students succeed in middle school? We are looking for high school mentors to work with students that need a little extra help at Tillicum Middle School. Bilingual mentors are especially needed, but anyone who is patient and good with younger kids is encouraged to apply. When traveling to school by car, bike, or foot, please be courteous and watch out for other travelers sharing the road/sidewalk with you. If on bicycle, please use bike lanes, where appropriate, and be sure to let walking pedestrians know you are approaching. While driving, please watch out for pedestrians crossing the street and do not speed through our parking lot.
