Winter Sports are just around the corner!  If you are trying out for the following sports, you MUST have IMPACT testing updated to cover the season.  Everyone registered today, needing IMPACT testing, will be notified via Final Forms.

Leadership Announcement: 

Sammamish is about get a little more spooky, because Halloweek is coming up!

Our Halloween Deck the Halls is next Monday 10/23 after school, at 3:30- 5:30!
Each class will have the opportunity to decorate a hallway in the school in the style of a Halloween movie!
The movie themes for each class are:
Freshmen – Ghostbusters (Paranormal)
Sophomores – Hocus Pocus (Crazy Witches)
Juniors – Friday the 13th (Killer in the Woods)
Seniors – IT (Evil Clowns)


Dress for the cooler fall weather with Fall Flannel Monday!

Team up with your doppelganger for Twin Tuesday or wear anything Blue!

Magic will be all through the halls for Witches and Wizards Wednesday or wear anything Yellow!

For Thursday, get ready for a color war! Seniors wear black, Juniors wear orange, Sophomores wear purple and Freshmen wear green! Staff wear white!

Then, on Friday, wear your costume…don’t forget that you cannot wear a full mask or paint your whole face. No costumes related to drugs or alcohol and absolute no weapons allowed.

Our very first fall fright fest will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 PM on Friday October 29.

There will be a haunted house, game booths, and fun fall decor for photos! The haunted house will open at 7:00 PM.

Tickets are $10 with ASB and $12 without. Link to buy tickets is here or in our bio.

Come have a pum-tastic time decorating and racing pumpkins: 

This Wednesday, make sure to be at the first annual pumpkin race, hosted by the class of 2023 and Ms. Ritchie! Decorate a pumpkin, put spokes and wheels in it, and come to the front entrance at 6:30 to test your pumpkins luck in the race! If you need spokes and wheels so you can race your pumpkin, make sure to look in the daily bulletin, there is a link and directions for spokes and wheels! Good luck, and may the best pumpkin win!

Friend Find Update:

Great job crushing exclusivity last Friday during the Friend Find, RedHawks! The senior class had the most participation, so a special congratulations to them. Participation points have been tallied and will be added to the Halloweek spirit point tracker!”

Thespian Club Announcement: 

Do you want to give back to your community? Please participate in the Halloween Food Drive put on by Thespian Club. Starting Monday, October 25th to Friday, October 29th, donation boxes will be outside the main office before and after school. We are accepting: Non-perishable food items (especially canned meals, ramen, and dried fruit), gloves, socks, hand warmers, and hygiene items. All items will be donated to Renewal Food Bank. Thank you!

SHS Library closures this week: Whenever there is a class or meeting in the library, students with open periods (or students who have a pass from class) should sign in and quietly be seated at the west end of the library, facing the interior hallway. Thanks for your cooperation!

  • Monday, 10/25/21: Library will be closing early at 3pm for another meeting. The library will be closed after school.
  • Thursday, 10/28/21: Library will be closed for the morning due to SAT testing. Please do not disturb testing in progress.

AP test fees are now on Student accounts and available to pay online. Payments are due November 1st. Here is the link to pay

It is your responsibility to check the test fees listed on your account. If you don’t see a test fee listed, We don’t have your registration. You MUST Contact Mrs. Tomlinson ASAP to add a test.

A $40.00 late fee will be added to tests ordered after 11/15/21 so make sure to check your registrations & fees NOW.
