Fall Play

The Fall Play (Almost Maine) is this weekend.  There are three shows: tonight at 7pm, tomorrow at 1pm, and tomorrow evening at 7pm.  Tickets are sold at the door (cash or check) for $12.  The show is about the importance of human connection and love, and no matter where you are in your life or what you have experienced, love is something we all need in some capacity.

The actors have done a stellar job of creating vulnerable and authentic characters, the crew has worked many long hours to get things running at full capacity and are so excited for our audiences to see their hard work.  We have a cast of 13, a crew of 44, and a creative team of 2.  The only missing piece is the audience.  Please come out and support our theater program.

Rainier Athletes Seeking Adult Volunteer Mentors

For the past ten years, Rainier Athletes  has been a partner of the Bellevue School District.  The mission of the organization has remained steadfast: use of athletics and mentorship to direct students towards a path of achievement and close opportunity gaps.

A student participant in Rainier Athletes is paired with a dedicated mentor and fully sponsored year-round to participate in sports, extracurriculars and summer camps.  Mentors build relationships with the student and foster an authentic connection with the student’s family and community to holistically support and motivate students to achieve their greatest potential.

Rainier Athletes is in search of caring adults to be connectors that bring together a community of support for students in our district.  Learn how you can apply to volunteer as Rainier Athlete’s mentor.
