Test results for BSD students will be sent out via email by the end of April 2024.

When and Where Will Testing Take Place?

In compliance with Washington State Senate Bill SB5072, ’Advancing Equity in Programs for Highly Capable Students,’ testing for currently enrolled BSD students will occur during the school day at the students’ school site between the end of November 2023 and February 2024.  Dates are coordinated with each school.  Exact date(s) of testing are determined by the number of referral applications received. Parents will receive an email with test details approximately two weeks before their child’s scheduled test date.  Please make every effort to have your child attend the date(s) assigned to him/her.  If your child is sick on the day of the testing or the night before, please email [email protected] with your child’s name, grade, the school and date(s). If there are extenuating circumstances, we may be able to reschedule your child’s test.  Illness will not be considered a valid reason for appeal.

Bellevue School district resident students who are referred for testing who attend private schools or home-school will be scheduled to test on a Saturday in December. Exact dates and times of testing are determined by the number of applications received. Parents will receive an email approximately two weeks prior to the scheduled test with specific details. Please make every effort to have your child attend the date assigned. If your child is sick on the day of or night before testing, please contact [email protected].

If your child is attending BSD on an approved nonresident transfer and is identified as in need of advanced learning, services are only provided through domain-specific services in the general education classroom at the current school setting for which that transfer applies.
