Dear Spiritridge Students and Families:
We hope this finds you well and looking forward to a summer break. As the school year ends, we would like to recover any school district items you have been using during remote learning and give you an opportunity to pick up belongings left in the classroom. Your health and well-being are our primary concern and we will be following state guidelines and practicing physical distancing during this process.
The exchanges will take place via your vehicle in the student drop-off/pick-up zones. For this process to go smoothly, we are scheduling families for specific times by classroom teacher. Due to limited time and resources at the school, please be on time for your session.
MATERIALS/SUPPLIES TO RETURN:
We ask that you gather any of the following items in preparation:
- Textbooks and classroom reading books
- Library books
- Laptops (including cables, charger, stylus, and carrying case) and wireless Hot Spots if you are not participating in summer opportunities
- Musical instruments
Technology: If you checked out a laptop and/or hotspot please be sure to bring those with you for return. Check that you have all the items you received: Laptop, charger, stylus, carrying case/bag and Hot Spot with charger.
All laptops and hot spots are to be returned to Spiritridge.
Families may return Laptops/Hotspots on Friday after 11:00 anytime. This allows your child to watch the End of Year Assembly that will Live Stream on Friday, June 19 at 10:00 a.m.
We will be using the school parking lot entry/exit flow for Parent Pick up/Drop off. See attached MAP.
If you have more than one student, your family only needs to come once. The materials will be ready during the assigned time for your youngest child.
As you pull into the school please have your student(s) name(s) visible on the passenger side of your vehicle. This will allow us to gather your students’ belongings which have been pre-packed by their teacher. When you reach the station please pop your trunk or back gate of your car so that your items can be gathered. Please remain in your vehicle.
If you are walking to the school, please see the greeter. They can direct you through the process. Please wear a mask.
