Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) Benefits
Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits will be available in Summer 2023. This will be a one-time, lump sum benefit of $120 per eligible child. New recipients will receive a letter and benefit card. Existing recipients will receive a letter. If you received P-EBT benefits previously, the funds for Summer 2023 will be loaded onto your existing card.
How do you use P-EBT benefits?
Pandemic-EBT benefits can be used like a debit card to buy food in most grocery stores and farmers markets, or to buy food online at Amazon, Walmart and Safeway/Albertsons.
Who is eligible for P-EBT Summer 2023 benefits?
Families whose child (including graduating seniors) qualified for free or reduced priced school meals by June 21, 2023. Eligible children must have attended a school that offered a lunch program.
Can you decline the benefit?
Yes. Information will be provided with the card on how to decline benefits.
Who can I contact with questions about P-EBT?
Call the P-EBT Contact Center at 1-833-518-0282 or visit www.dshs.wa.gov/pebt. You can sign up for text message alerts about the status of your child’s P-EBT benefit at textpebt.dshs.wa.gov. (Please note: the school district does not send P-EBT cards; the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services mails the cards).

Planning for Fall
New or Leaving BSD?
New students enrolling in the Bellevue School District in grades kindergarten through 12, should enroll in the designated school in their attendance area. To find your attendance area school for the 2023-2024 school year, use the online school finder. Need to enroll in preschool? Please visit our Preschool page.
Make sure to notify StudentPlacement@bsd405.org if you will need to withdraw your student. Please provide student name and ID or birth date.
Class Assignments for 2023-2024 School Year
District administrators want to remind families of about the DRAFT nature of student schedules and/or homeroom placements they may view over the summer. Scheduling occurs continuously as families move away or join our school communities. This means an individual student’s classroom assignment continues to shift over the summer.
In mid-August, the district rolls over systems to prepare for the new academic year. This sometimes reveals a DRAFT of student schedules or homeroom placements. Families should be reminded that anything they may see should be considered a draft until their schools communicate that placements are finalized. This will take place just prior to the start of the 2023-2024 school year. Because sharing inaccurate information may create unnecessary confusion as placements continue to be adjusted, families are discouraged to share draft placements or schedules with students or other families prior to finalized schedules being announced near August 31.
