The process has begun for our annual trip to Camp Orkila on Orcas Island.  6th grade camp is an overnight outdoor environmental education experience for all Tyee 6th grade students.

Wednesday, March 16, 7 pm – 6th Grade Camp Parent Information Meeting in Gym.  A summary of our camp program will be presented and opportunities to ask questions.

Friday, March 18 – All permission forms due to main office and student tuition payments paid online.  The cost of camp is expected to be $295 per student.

Tuesday, April 26 – Friday, April 29 – 6th Grade Camp at YMCA Camp Orkila!

We are also looking for parent volunteers.  The responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Attending entire trip from April 26 – April 29, riding a charter bus, a ferry trip through the San Juan Islands, monitoring students while in environmental education classes, enjoying evening activities, and having an overall good time. Parent volunteer must pay the full tuition.  Dads are welcome and encouraged to apply!  If interested, please fill out the Parent Volunteer Application in the permission packet that will be sent home the last week of February.
