Are you ready to build your critical thinking skills and habits? Do you want to know how to study like a college student? AVID might be right for you! AVID is a nationally recognized program that helps students learn the skills to be ready for college and beyond. Applications are live for NEXT year’s AVID class. All students at Tyee can apply because there are also 9th grade AVID classes at BSD high schools. Check your Outlook for an email called “2020 AVID Application” to learn more about our program if you’re ready to apply now. You can check out our table at lunch on Wednesday to learn more and sign up for an information session. AVID: Proven achievement, lifelong advantage.

 

The Neon Social will be Friday night Feb 28th from 7-9 PM. The commons will be dark with black lights, a DJ, a dance competition, Newport High students performing choreographed dances…and over 10 varieties of free candy and snacks.

This event is free to attend for current Tyee students but advanced registration is required.

There are NO paper forms – Registration is online only at tyee ptsa.org

If you are interested in the dance competition, look for the posters around school and contact Tyee PTSA.
