Tyee Picture Days!

We are excited to provide school pictures for our students and families this year to order mementos and serve as the picture for the yearbook. For those families who are unable to attend or choose not to participate in this in-person activity, the yearbook staff is setting up an alternate process to ensure that all students have the ability to be represented in the yearbook. We have changed the dates (from previous communication) based on updated guidelines from Lifetouch.   Please sign up for a slot using the sign up genius link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0444a8a823a5f49-picture.  Please see the attached flyer for ordering information through Lifetouch.

Dates and Hours:

  • Saturday, January 16, 10am – 3pm
  • Wednesday, January 20, 12pm – 4:30pm

Location: Tyee Middle School (under the covered basketball area outside)

We thank you in advance for following these safety protocols:

  • This will be an outside event.  Dress for the weather.
  • Only students will be able to exit the car and go to the picture-taking area. No family members will be allowed to accompany students. We will ask you to stay in your parked car, or if walking, away from the photography area.
  • All students and staff will be masked at all times—except for the short time that the student removes the mask to take a picture.
  • Physical distancing will be utilized.
Tyee: Photo Requests from the Yearbook Club

There is only one way we can create our yearbook this year – and that is with your help!  You will be asked every few weeks to upload your photos based on specific themes!  This week, we are asking you to send us your photos showing us “What I did during winter break“.  Fun photos, serious photos, holiday photos, solo-selfies, photos with friends, indoor photos, outdoor photos, photos showing your activities, etc…as many as you’d like.

Please upload your photos by January 15th.

To upload photos, there are two options: Website or the Yearbook Snap App.

Option 1: Website – www.yearbookforever.com

Option 2: Yearbook Snap App –

  • Download “Yearbook Snap” App for your mobile phone from App Store or Google Play
  • In the “Search your school” option, type in ‘Tyee Middle School’ (be careful not to confuse it with Tyee High School)
  • Our Pass Code: ‘tbirds’
  • Upload your pictures in the category called ‘Events’

Note: you cannot see pictures uploaded by other students on the app, so just because you don’t see any photos as you upload – it does not mean that no one else has uploaded any!  We can’t wait to see what you did over Winter Break, and to share those photos in our yearbook this year!
