Many families have requested guidance and suggestions on how to make their experience dropping off and picking up students less stressful, safer, and more efficient. As most of you know, Tyee MS creates major traffic congestion before after school each day. Our peak traffic times are in the afternoon, particularly on Wednesdays between 2:00-2:20.  This leads to frustration, stress, and long delays for families trying to transport students or get to work on time.  We strongly recommend families use the back (north) parking lot, or arrive 10-15 minutes after dismissal to avoid the traffic rush.

Please watch this short video presentations to consider some ideas that will make your trip to Tyee a safer and less stressful one.

The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
