Tasked with the responsibility of improving two-way communication for families, BSD’s Language Access Coordinator, Marta Trilles Ramos, shared with the school board improvements in the districtwide language access process. She and Director of Multilingual Learner Programs and current Acting Principal at Newport Heights Elementary School, Dr. Ricardo Macias, demonstrated the use of new technology tools that assist with communication to families who prefer receiving information in a language other than English.Read More
