Happy New Year Wilburton Wolves!  I hope that this winter break you have found joy in being with family and friends while staying safe and healthy.

I want to thank all our K-2 families for filling out the Survey for Return to In Person Learning.  Currently we are analyzing that information and making out class lists and AM/PM sessions for students.  More information will be shared with our K-2 Families in a separate email soon!

As we gear up to start school on Monday, please make sure to check the general channel of your students TEAM for their classroom and also their calendar for the newest schedule for specialists (Art, Music, PE, Library).  Across our district we have made changes to our specialists schedules, increasing their time to between 30-40 minutes, which means the schedule needed to change.  Specialists (Art, Music, PE, Library) are now scheduled throughout the day (between 8-2:30pm).  Your classroom teacher will remind students/families of this change and the specialists have created new meeting times and calendar invites for the classes.

Happy New Year All!

BSD Updates and News

Monthly Windows and Office 365 Updates

Windows and Office 365 monthly updates on your elementary student’s district laptops will be starting mid-December. Monthly updates on elementary laptops were paused at the start of the year while families became familiar with the devices. The Technology Department is now resuming updates on elementary laptops to keep devices secure and up to date. Please learn what to expect and step by step instructions for families on our website.

Family Engagement Advisory Committee

The Bellevue School District is developing a Family Engagement Advisory Committee to represent the diverse voices of families we serve.

If selected, members of this committee will participate in developing long-term practices of inclusion and representation of the diverse communities in our system.  Further, members will both give AND receive critical feedback and advisement on matters important to four primary groups: BSD School Board, District Leadership Team, Equity Advisory Group, Department of Equity and Family Engagement (potentially others) and engage in experiences to deepen their knowledge and ability to impact organizational transformation. Learn More
