|A Note from the Administration
Chhoun Mey, Principal
Stephanie Mathias, Assistant Principal
|Dear Wilburton Families and Parents,
As the first start of school buzz transitions into our normal school routines, we would like families to know that if you are walking your student to school in the morning that the expectation now is to drop them off at the front entrance. This practice will help keep our building safe and it will allow us to operate within our normal school procedures. For the first several weeks of school, we have allowed parents and families to walk into the school building during the morning drop off. Typically we allow dropping off students at the classroom for the first couple of days when the new school year begins, but this year we extended that timeframe due to the pandemic preventing this opportunity to families for several years.
Thank you so much for your understanding. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
|Last Thursday, September 15 was the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month which ends on October 15. In many classrooms and learning spaces, teachers work to create opportunities for Windows and Mirrors for our students to have opportunities to learn and share the history, culture, achievements and contributions of Hispanic Americans in our country.

|Wolf Pack Connections
|Thank you to the all the families and parents who attended our first Wolf Pack Connections on Friday. It was great to meet new families to our school community and re-connect with returning families. Thank you so much to our PTA for providing coffee and joining us as well.
We look forward to hosting Wolf Pack Connections almost every month. Stay tuned for the announcement of the next one coming up in October.
|WES Curriculum Night||Our school’s Curriculum Night will be on Tuesday, October 11th. Our leadership team is currently working on setting the time and creating the structure for the night and we will share more details on the event next week.|
|Join the PTA
|The PTA is working on increasing membership and partnerships with the school. I encourage all staff to highly consider joining the PTA – it is a great way to show support and partnership with them. The PTA is a small, but mighty team that does so much to support staff, students and families. If you have any questions about the PTA, please feel free to reach out to Lindsay Dugan, PTA President or Lauren Gray, Vice President:
