|Dear Wilburton Families and Parents,
We hope that families and students who celebrated Diwali last week were able to gather with family and friends and enjoy food and company with one another.
We had a great turn out this past Friday for our PTA sponsored Trunk or Treat event. Thank you so much to our PTA for putting on the event. Thank you to our families and staff that hosted a trunk on Friday as well. We were very fortunate with the weather and it decided to only rain in the morning and left us dry later that evening so that our little trunk or treaters could come by and get some treats from us all.
Please remember for Halloween tomorrow, we are not encouraging students to wear costumes to school. We had a great Spirit Week last week that ended with students being able to participate in dressing up as their favorite book character.
|Bellevue Schools Foundation “Spirit Week”||*New this Year!* The Bellevue Schools Foundation (BSF) Spirit Week is a district-wide celebration to raise funding and awareness for the critical programs supported by the Bellevue Schools Foundation. As you know, BSF is distributing $800,000 this year to our 30 schools in the district. As leaders in our community, it’s BSF’s hope that you rally your schools to support the Foundation at this time. The more funding BSF can raise this year, the more funding each of your school communities and classrooms can receive next year. Learn more about programming supported by BSF.
Spirit Week begins on October 31 and includes a “Clickathon,” which offers every community member an opportunity to be featured in a virtual mosaic. A gift of any amount equates to a virtual “block of support,” which will be unveiled as a full mosaic on Friday, November 4. Read the full details on what’s happening each day (and a link to share with your communities)
