A Note from the Administration

Chhoun Mey, Principal

Stephanie Mathias, Assistant Principal

Dear Wilburton Families and Parents,

A huge thank you to our parents and families who were able to volunteer last Friday during our first FunRun. Students have been learning about leadership with the Apex team the last two weeks and it culminated in the FunRun. It was a cold, but dry day and the kids did an amazing job running/walking with smiles on Friday.

This is another reminder to please be patient, safe and respectful when dropping off or picking up during arrival and dismissal.

We hope that students and families have a great Thanksgiving Break this week.

In Partnership,

Chhoun Mey

Stephanie Mathias

Rainier Athletes Seeking Adult Volunteer Mentor Rainier Athletes Seeking Adult Volunteer Mentors

ESC West will be holding another round of test distribution the week of December 12-16. Sending students and staff home with tests is a great way to prepare for a potential increase in cases following winter break and the holidays.

For the past ten years, Rainier Athletes has been a partner of the Bellevue School District. The mission of the organization has remained steadfast: use athletics and mentorship to direct students towards a path of achievement and close opportunity gaps.

A student participant in Rainier Athletes is paired with a dedicated mentor and fully sponsored year-round to participate in sports, extracurriculars and summer camps. Mentors build relationships with the student and foster an authentic connection with the student’s family and community to holistically support and motivate students to achieve their greatest potential.

Rainier Athletes is in search of caring adults to be connectors that bring together a community of support for students in our district. Learn how you can apply to volunteer as Rainier Athlete’s mentor.
