Smarter Balanced Assessment – Chinook Middle School

Students will take the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) as scheduled below:

May 7: English Language Arts Computer Adaptive Assessment
May 9: English Language Arts Performance Task
May14: Math Computer Adaptive Assessment
May 16: Math Performance Task

All 8^th Grade students will take the (Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS) on May 20 and May 21 during their Science class (regular bell schedule on these days).

Students should come to school on these days with a fully-charged laptop and wired headphones (no Bluetooth/wireless headphones). Students do not need to make any other special preparations for the test apart from getting rest the night before and coming to school prepared to do their best.
