We want to extend our appreciation and gratefulness to all of you for partnering with us as we continue to fine tune our pickup and drop off process for our school community. By working together, we have been able to make progress in safely and efficiently getting students connected to their families in the car pick up line.

One area we are working to improve on and address for safety and to comply with city regulations is the east parking lot. In this parking lot, there is no parent pick up or drop off allowed except for preschool families. The east parking lot should only be used for busses and staff parking only. To help our family/parent community follow this process we will be putting up more signage and moving over more staff to help communicate that family/parent pick up or drop off should only be happening at the west parking lot. We will be also providing our preschool families with a Pre-k car tag for entry into the east parking lot area. The tag will be distributed by preschool teachers.

Additionally, we know there continues to be some backup on 24th street during pick up times. To help alleviate this, cars should be pulling up all the way along the car pick up line so that students are walking along the sidewalk all the way along the north fence line to connect with families in the car pick up line. Please see the two maps attached for more information.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions.
