Hello K-5 Jaguar Families!
Lake Hills Teachers and Staff are excited to welcome 1st– 5th grade families and students Tuesday, September 5th 😊 (Kindergarten families/students we are excited to welcome you Friday, September 8th). Please review the following safety procedures for parent Drop Off & Pick Up. Please be patient and adhere to the directions of our traffic supervisors as you drop off & pick up your student.
- If your child is eating breakfast at school, they can enter at 8:20 through the outside doors in the café hallway (see image below). If your child is eating breakfast they need to arrive between 8:20-8:30. Students arriving after 8:30 will not have time to go through the line, eat their breakfast and get to class by last bell at 8:40.
- If your child is not eating breakfast, they can enter at 8:30 to head to their classroom. School doors do not open before 8:30 as there is not supervision available inside or outside of the building before 8:30.

The first couple of days are always very busy for staff, trying to get nearly 500 kiddos to their new classrooms so we appreciate your patience as we get everyone where they need to go. 😊

¡Hola familias de K-5 Jaguar!
Los maestros y el personal de Lake Hills están emocionados de darles la bienvenida a las familias y estudiantes de 1º a 5º grado el martes 5 de septiembre 😊 (familias/estudiantes de jardín de infantes, estamos emocionados de darles la bienvenida el viernes 8 de septiembre). Revise los siguientes procedimientos de seguridad para dejar y recoger a los padres. Tenga paciencia y siga las instrucciones de nuestros supervisores de tráfico al dejar y recoger a su estudiante.
- Si su hijo está desayunando en la escuela, puede entrar a las 8:20 por las puertas exteriores en el pasillo del café (vea la imagen a continuación). Si su hijo está desayunando, debe llegar entre las 8:20 y las 8:30. Los estudiantes que lleguen después de las 8:30 no tendrán tiempo de pasar por la fila, desayunar y llegar a clase antes del último timbre a las 8:40.
- Si su hijo no está desayunando, puede ingresar a las 8:30 para dirigirse a su salón de clases. Las puertas de la escuela no se abren antes de las 8:30 ya que no hay supervisión disponible dentro o fuera del edificio antes de las 8:30.
Los primeros días siempre están muy ocupados para el personal, tratando de llevar a casi 500 niños a sus nuevas aulas, por lo que apreciamos su paciencia mientras llevamos a todos a donde deben ir. 😊
