A  bit about Ms. Mykela

Hello!  I am so glad you are here.  My name is Mykela Fantone (Ms. Mykela to our students) and I am Cherry Crest’s full-time School Counselor. This is my fifth year as a School Counselor at the elementary level and I can easily say my job is the best in the world!  I get to support our students within the three American School Counselor Association (ASCA) domains of Social/Emotional Learning, Academics, and College/Career discovery.  In addition to supporting teachers and students with class lessons, I run small groups for students to focus in on targeted areas such as Growth Mindset, Friendship, Families in Transition, and Emotion Regulation.  I can also provide individual check-ins for students one-on-one.  Students can request to meet with me when they see me at school, by emailing me, or by asking their teacher or family to email me.  I am here as a resource anytime for our students and families.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out!
