The Scholastic Book Fair will take place Tuesday, November 17 through Friday November 20 in our Library. We still need volunteers during school hours for the week of the Book Fair, as well as for set up on Monday, November 16, and tear down on Friday, November 20. Evening volunteers are also needed for Family Night/Fun Zone on Wednesday, November 18. Shifts range from 1 hour on Family Night to 2.5 hours for set up and sales during the school day. Volunteers help with organizing books and helping kids manage their book budgets. This event is very popular with our students and is a fun volunteer opportunity!

If you are interested in being a cashier, please contact [email protected] directly, as this role requires specific training. We will need THREE cashiers during each shift, including the Family Night shifts. Please click on the sign up link to view the time spots and let us know what shift(s) you prefer to work as a cashier. We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone’s choices.

A significant portion of our Library funding each year comes from the Book Fair, and every dollar raised at the Book Fair goes directly to our Library!

Thank you!

Carrie Browne and Rebecca Johnston, Library Co-Chairs and Erin Bethel and Arika Dickens, Medina Librarians.
