Tyee: Wednesday Attendance Updates Tyee Teachers are creating “Wednesday asynchronous channels” for each class where students can find information on how to show attendance for Wednesday.   To be marked “present” students may be asked to answer a question, react to a post, or complete a Nearpod/Forms survey or some other task.  Students need to do what is requested of them before 4:00pm on Wednesdays, or they will be marked as absent.  If students are not sure what counts for attendance, please check the Teacher’s Wednesday asynchronous channel.   If the Wednesday channel is not available yet, teachers will communicate to students their specific class process for Wednesday attendance for this week. Thank you.
Tyee: Veterans Day 2020!

This year we are conducting assemblies to honor different members of our community in ways that we have never done it before! BSD: Annual Family Engagement Report

Thank you to all of the Bellevue School District families who participated in our Family Engagement Survey during the winter of 2019! The results of this survey helped the district establish a starting point for future engagement with our families. Every BSD school has a School Improvement Plan and is incorporating key strategies and targets for family engagement into their 2020-21 plan.

During the survey, families asked for more information about student learning, consistent updates, more opportunities to be active partners and more. Read more about the survey results, the annual targets and goals that have been established, and the next steps for Family Engagement in the 2019-20 Annual Family Engagement Report. The district will also be collaborating with families to develop strategies and goals to increase engagement, especially for families who have been furthest from educational justice. The Bellevue School District acknowledges that we learn, work, live and gather on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here, since time immemorial.
