We Need YOU!
It’s that time of year where the PLE PTA seeks enthusiastic & supportive PLE parents & guardians to volunteer for open positions for the 2023-2024 school year! The PTA is run 100% by parent volunteers and we wouldn’t be able to support the students, teachers/staff and phamilies without volunteers like YOU! Open positions have a wide variety of responsibilities and time commitments from once or twice a year for a couple hours or helping out during recess at school. We are currently seeking nominations for the following Executive Board positions which will be voted on at the June 2nd PTA meeting:
- President
- VP of Fundraising
- Treasurer
We are also looking for volunteers for the following committee and chair positions which are not part of the board or voted on: Eagle Eye Patrol; Community Building Chair; Preschool Liaison; Volunteer Coordinator; Book Fair Chair; Reflections Chair; Spiritwear Chair; Walk to School Day Coordinator; Spring Fundraiser Chair; Catering Coordinator for Staff Appreciation; Harvest Dance/Fall Trunk or Treat Chair & Committee; Ice Cream Social Chair & Committee; Family Game/Movie Nights Chair/Committee; Multicultural Night Chair & Committee; Talent Show Chair & Committee. For our events committees, if we do not have volunteers to help plan them, they may not happen this next year! Lastly, many of our committees can be chaired as co-chairs if you want to do it with a friend!
