Signs of Suicide (SOS) Parent Discussion Session
Due to overwhelming community request, the Family Engagement office in partnership with BSD Counseling, Mental Health Assistance Teams and community mental-health partners will offer families an additional opportunity to support the well-being of their students.

Welcome to the BSD and SNPTA’s Family Resource Series:
Supporting Behavior and Organization Skills During Virtual Learning
Please join Bellevue School District Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Megan Kidder and Claire Sherman, for a family-focused informational session. We will discuss virtual learning supports including strategies on setting up your student’s learning environment, supporting your child during group and independent work, preventing behavioral challenges, and setting up rewards.

How to Recognize and Support My Student Experiencing Depression (Spanish Speakers Session)
The Bellevue School District strives to support our parent community. We know that currently, mental health continues to be a top family concern as we all face unprecedented times and unexpected hardships. In partnership with the district counseling program, social-emotional curriculum developers, family engagement team and community mental health partners, the district are hosting a series of community forums to inform, support and empower families on issues surrounding mental health.
This session will be recorded and posted for viewing for those not able to join the live event.
- When: Thursday, December 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Spring BSD Board Listening Session
The Directors of the Bellevue School Board invite students, families, staff, and community members to participate in a series of engagement opportunities that seek to center community voice, help shape district direction and inform the leadership profile for the next district superintendent.
FIRST Robotics Competition at Sammamish High School
Date and Times:
- Saturday, March 19: 2:00 – 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday, March 20: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Sunday, March 20: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. – Awards Ceremony
Members of the community are invited to attend the competition events this weekend.
Sammamish High School will host a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) for teams across the Pacific Northwest from March 18-20. This is the first time a BSD school has hosted this event and robotics teams from five BSD High Schools will be represented by their FRC teams.
Best of luck to all of the students, mentors and staff taking part in this competition representing BSD. Participants include:

- NRG (Newport Robotics Group)
- Wolverine Robotics (Bellevue Robotics)
- Saints Robotics (Interlake Robotics)
