6TH Grade Camp At Camp Sealth on Vashon Island May 31St To June 2ND

Each year, Tillicum’s sixth graders attend Outdoor Education Camp at Camp Sealth on Vashon Island.  Students will enjoy three fun-filled days and two nights learning and connecting with other students, staff, and high school counselors. Students will take hands-on classes reinforcing the science curriculum, as well as work on social-emotional skills, communication skills, and community building.  Sixth Grade Camp has been a tradition at Tillicum for many years. This year we will be attending camp May 31st through June 2nd.

Please be sure you have made full payment, if you need financial assistance contacted Camp Coordinators Ms. Kim Hay and Mr. Dave Jensen or your student’s counselor No student should miss camp for financial reasons!

If you are financially able, please consider making a donation using this link to help offset student and high school counselor camp fees and scholarship costs. Donations are tax-deductible and eligible for employer matching.

If your child takes any medication (over-the-counter or prescription), their Medication Authorization Form is due today. Please contact Nurse Peggy Ruehr with any questions. The actual medications must be given to Nurse Peggy by May 12.

Finally, if you are among those few parents who are still hesitant about your child attending camp, please feel free to contact Mr. Dave Jensen or Ms. Kim Hay with any specific questions or concerns. We are at close to 100% participation and would love for EVERY sixth grader to have this once-in-a-lifetime experience with their classmates and teachers!
