2022-23 End of Year Wrap Up
Reminder: Fill out a pre-arranged absence form if your student will be missing any days of school at end of the year – including if they will be attending siblings promotion or graduation ceremonies.
Overdue books
Please remind your students to return library and school books. All checked-out books will appear as LOST and will be assessed a replacement fine. Once books are returned and checked-in, the fine will be removed. If your student is unsure whether they have overdue books, they can view their library account by logging in to Destiny Discover via the student portal.
Books may be returned to the front office or library.
June 4-18 – Yearbooks are on sale for $18.

June 9 – 8th grade Graduation Party
The party is sponsored by the PTA at Sammamish High School from 7-9 PM. This free event is open to all 8th grade Tillicum students. More information can be found here.
June 15 – Locker clean-out
- All student lockers will be cleaned out in the afternoon.
- PE lockers will be cleaned out during their PE class period.
Bring an extra bag to take your things home. Any items left behind, will be donated.
June 16 – Clubs/activities, buses, and 8th grade laptops
- Last day for all clubs and activities
- Last day for Activity Bus routes
- Laptop Collection – for 8th graders only
All items must be returned including: laptop, laptop bag, stylus, and charger. Charges for missing items are listed below. Fees can be paid here.

Ninth graders will be issued NEW laptop devices in the first two weeks of high school!
Note: 6th & 7th graders will be keeping their school laptops over the summer.
June 18 – Last day to purchase a 2022-23 Yearbook
June 19 – Juneteenth – NO SCHOOL
June 20 – Yearbook distribution
If you purchased a yearbook, and have no fines or fees on your account, they will be distributed at the end of the school day. Students are welcome to bring these for signing the final few days of school – but may need to put them away during classes!
June 21 – 8th grade Promotion Ceremony
Eighth graders will attend 1st period as usual, then follow a modified schedule. Eighth graders will have 1st lunch 10:40 – 11:10 AM. More information on 8th grade promotion can be found here.
6th and 7th graders will attend 2nd lunch 11:25-11:55 AM and attend 5A classes, otherwise they will follow their regular Wednesday schedule.
June 22 – Last day of school (only a 2 hour day)
The school day 7:45 – 9:45 AM. Students will go to all 7 periods. No backpacks or laptops are needed.
Buses will run on their regular PM routes at the end of school/9:45 AM.
