Ella nació en Los Angeles, California. Ella es una física científica y una astronauta de la NASA. Sus abuelos paternos eran mexicanos. Ella fue la primera mujer de origen hispano en viajar al espacio. Ella ha estado en el espacio cuatro veces.
She was born in Los Angeles, California. She is a physic scientist and a NASA astronaut. Her grandparents were Mexican. She was the first Hispanic woman to travel to the space. She has been in space four times.

Unity Day: Tomorrow is Unity Day and we invite all students and staff to wear orange as a visual reminder that we promote kindness, acceptance and inclusion at Tillicum Middle School. Students earn Tiger points during our “mix it up” lunches by sitting at new tables and starting conversations with new friends. We have raffle prizes from the Tiger Store for those who participate. You’ll learn more about Unity Day and our inclusive activities during your 3rd period class today.
Tigers: We have a few remaining yearbooks from last year available for purchase. Get your 2022-23 Yearbook NOW through October 23. You can purchase one online or in the office.
Orange and Black social: Tillicum PTA presents Black and orange social on Friday October 20th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Dress code – wear orange and black. Each attendee will receive 2 tickets for snacks and drinks. Extra tickets available for $1 each, for more details check your Daily announcement email.
