Make sure to ask your parent/guardian if you are in town on December 31st at 1pm and able to go BEFORE you buy this raffle prize and this CHANCE to win two Seahawks tickets!

Thank you to our very own Brian Pan for this generous gift to our Tigers.

Bags and Backpacks: Hey Tigers!  This is a friendly reminder that bags and backpacks are not allowed in the classrooms!  If you have a bag that carries your binder, pencil pouch, water bottle and more, this is taking the place of a backpack and is not allowed.  You should have your computer bag and computer, a binder and water bottle if desired. Thanks, Tigers, for following the TMS Way and leaving bags and backpacks in your lockers!

Orange and Black social:

The Tillicum Middle School PTA Presents: Orange & Black Social!

Tiger Families are invited to attend this Fall social event tomorrow Friday, October 20th, at Tillicum MS at 6pm.

Students and their families are welcome! Join in on the fun and wear orange and black as an option. Hang out with friends or meet new families. Enjoy some yummy treats: every attendee gets 2 tickets for snacks and drinks or there will be pizza for purchase (while supplies last). Bring your own comfy seating (sleeping bag, lounge chair, etc.) and check out the movie we will be showing … Princess Bride! There will also be a game area with board games for both grownups and kids. We will even have a Nintendo Switch area where kids can game together on their own consoles (note: we will not be responsible for lost or stolen items). Lots of fun to be had. Hope to see you all there!

for more details check this link.

Jar Game/Wisdom of the Crowd Experiment:

Students who are attending tonight’s Orange and Black Social will have the opportunity to test theory of “Wisdom of the Crowd”: Wisdom of the crowd is a theory that assumes large crowds are collectively smarter than in

dividual experts. It believes that the collective knowledge and opinions of a group are better at decision-making, problem-solving, and innovating than an individual.

We will have 6 jars filled with treats at the social, and each student gets to guess how many items are in each of the jars. Closest guess to the actual number of items in each jar wins the jar!

Here is the added fun-Using this theory, it is believed that if we calculate the average for the submitted answers we received and compare them to the actual numbers in each jar, that your collective guess should be fairly close to the actual number.

Lost And Found: The Lost and Found has no more room for water bottles, lunch boxes and Tupperware containers.  If you have lost any of these things, please pick them up from the window outside the counselling center.  Any items left by the end of next week will be donated or disposed of. While you are there, please check the lost and found coat bin.  It is overflowing with jackets and hoodies.  These items will also be donated soon.
