Does your student have library/text books, instruments, or other school items that need to be dropped off? Does your student have items in their lockers or classrooms that were left behind? We will be providing opportunities for our families to come to Tyee to drop-off or pick-up items. This will take place on Friday, June 19th and Monday, June 22nd.
Unfortunately, students will not be able to keep BSD laptops for the summer. The devices are in need of re-imaging, and will cease to be operable over the summer without a much-needed update. As there are tens of thousands of devices, this requires several weeks of work from a very limited district staff.
As learning must continue until the last day of school, we will not collect laptops or other materials until Friday, June 19th. Because we are such a large school (over 1,050 students), we cannot process all families in one day. We have scheduled appointment times for June 19th & 22nd based on student last name. If you are unable to make your appointment time, you may come during “open hours” the afternoon of the 22nd. After June 22nd, we are more limited on staff, and cannot host further dates. More information is contained within the letters.
If you are leaving the district prior to June 19, please contact [email protected] to process your absence/withdrawal and receive guidance on how to return district-owned items.
What if I can’t drop off/pick up my items during this June 19th and June 22nd time frame?

Regarding Laptops & Tech Accessories ONLY
- Come by Tyee between 12p-4p on 6/22, it is open hours.
- A friend, family member, or anyone can return it for you – at your designated time, or their child’s time (if they want to put it all together and turn it in at once)
- Drop off LAPTOPS ONLY at Sammamish HS or WISC between 8am-4pm by June 26. Please do not turn in Tyee library or text books to the tech centers. They may get lost in transit and fines cannot be cleared without a book to check in!!!! ?.
- Call 425.456.4000 and someone in BSD will contact them to make arrangements.
